ข้อ ๕๘๔ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย ภิกษุผู้ประกอบด้วยธรรม ๓ ประการ ย่อมมีความสำเร็จ ล่วงส่วน มีความเกษมจากโยคะล่วงส่วน มีปรกติประพฤติพรหมจรรย์ล่วงส่วน มีที่สุดล่วงส่วน ประเสริฐกว่าเทวดาและมนุษย์ทั้งหลายธรรม ๓ ประการเป็นไฉน คือ อิทธิปาฏิหาริยะ ฤทธิ์เป็นอัศจรรย์ ๑ อาเทสนาปาฏิหาริยะ ดักใจเป็นอัศจรรย์ ๑ อนุสาสนีปาฏิหาริยะ คำสอน เป็นอัศจรรย์ ๑ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย ภิกษุประกอบด้วยธรรม ๓ ประการนี้แล ย่อมมีความสำเร็จ ล่วงส่วน มีความเกษมจากโยคะล่วงส่วน มีปรกติประพฤติพรหมจรรย์ล่วงส่วนมีที่สุดล่วงส่วน ประเสริฐกว่าเทวดาและมนุษย์ทั้งหลาย ฯ

“Mendicants, a mendicant with three qualities has reached the ultimate end, the ultimate sanctuary from the yoke, the ultimate spiritual life, the ultimate goal. They are best among gods and humans.
