Paṭhamasamayavimuttasutta
A mendicant who has found only temporary freedom may decline for five reasons.
ฉบับหลวงสมยวิมุตตสูตรที่ ๑

ข้อ ๑๔๙ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย ธรรม ๕ ประการนี้ ย่อมเป็นไปเพื่อความเสื่อมแก่ภิกษุ ผู้มีจิตหลุดพ้นในสมัย ธรรม ๕ ประการเป็นไฉน คือ ความเป็นผู้ชอบทำการงาน ๑ ความ เป็นผู้ชอบคุย ๑ ความเป็นผู้ชอบนอน ๑ ความเป็นผู้ชอบคลุกคลีด้วยหมู่คณะ ๑ ภิกษุนั้นไม่ พิจารณาจิตที่หลุดพ้นแล้วอย่างไร ๑ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย ธรรม ๕ ประการนี้แล ย่อมเป็นไปเพื่อ ความเสื่อมแก่ภิกษุผู้มีจิตหลุดพ้นในสมัย ฯ
ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย ธรรม ๕ ประการนี้ ย่อมเป็นไปเพื่อความไม่เสื่อมแก่ภิกษุผู้มีจิต หลุดพ้นในสมัย ธรรม ๕ ประการเป็นไฉน คือ ความเป็นผู้ไม่ชอบทำการงาน ๑ ความเป็น ผู้ไม่ชอบคุย ๑ ความเป็นผู้ไม่ชอบนอน ๑ ความเป็นผู้ไม่ชอบคลุกคลีด้วยหมู่คณะ ๑ ภิกษุนั้น พิจารณาจิตที่หลุดพ้นแล้วอย่างไร ๑ ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย ธรรม ๕ ประการนี้แล ย่อมเป็นไปเพื่อ ความไม่เสื่อมแก่ภิกษุผู้มีจิตหลุดพ้นในสมัย ฯ

“Pañcime, bhikkhave, dhammā samayavimuttassa bhikkhuno parihānāya saṁvattanti.
“Mendicants, these five things lead to the decline of a mendicant who is temporarily free.

What five?
- 1.3
Kammārāmatā, bhassārāmatā, niddārāmatā, saṅgaṇikārāmatā, yathāvimuttaṁ cittaṁ na paccavekkhati.
They relish work, talk, sleep, and company. And they don’t review the extent of their mind’s freedom.
- 1.4
Ime kho, bhikkhave, pañca dhammā samayavimuttassa bhikkhuno parihānāya saṁvattanti.
These five things lead to the decline of a mendicant who is temporarily free.

These five things don’t lead to the decline of a mendicant who is temporarily free.
