Khandhasutta
The arising of the five aggregates is the arising of suffering.
ฉบับหลวงขันธสูตร · ว่าด้วยความเกิดขึ้นตั้งอยู่และดับไปแห่งทุกข์
ข้อความไทยนี้คือ พระไตรปิฎกภาษาไทย ฉบับหลวง ซึ่งแปลจากพระไตรปิฎกบาลีคนละฉบับกับบาลีที่แสดงอยู่ด้านล่าง จึงไม่ได้เรียงตรงกันบรรทัดต่อบรรทัด — อ่านเป็นสำนวนแปลอิสระอีกฉบับหนึ่ง
พระนครสาวัตถี. ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย ความเกิดขึ้น ความตั้งอยู่ ความบังเกิด ความปรากฏแห่งรูป นี้เป็นความเกิดขึ้นแห่งทุกข์ เป็นความตั้งอยู่แห่งโรค เป็นความปรากฏแห่งชราและมรณะ. ความเกิดขึ้น ความตั้งอยู่ ความบังเกิด ความปรากฏแห่งเวทนา ฯลฯ แห่งสัญญา ฯลฯ แห่งสังขาร ฯลฯ แห่งวิญญาณ นี้เป็นความเกิดขึ้นแห่งทุกข์ เป็นความตั้งอยู่แห่งโรค เป็นความปรากฏแห่งชราและมรณะ.
ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย ก็ความดับโดยไม่เหลือ ความสงบระงับความดับสูญแห่งรูป นี้เป็นความดับโดยไม่เหลือแห่งทุกข์ เป็นความสงบระงับแห่งโรค เป็นความดับสูญแห่งชราและมรณะ. ความดับโดยไม่เหลือ ความสงบระงับ ความดับสูญแห่งเวทนา ฯลฯ แห่งสัญญา แห่งสังขาร ฯลฯ แห่งวิญญาณ นี้เป็นความดับโดยไม่เหลือแห่งทุกข์ เป็นความสงบระงับแห่งโรค เป็นความดับสูญแห่งชราและมรณะ.
