Arahantasutta

All Buddhas become awakened through the four noble truths.

พระนครสาวัตถี. ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย ก็พระอรหันตสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้าเหล่าใดในอดีตกาล ตรัสรู้แล้วตามความเป็นจริง พระอรหันตสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้าทั้งหมดนั้น ตรัสรู้แล้วซึ่งอริยสัจ ๔ ตามความเป็นจริง ถึงพระอรหันตสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้าเหล่าใดเหล่าหนึ่งในอนาคตกาล จักตรัสรู้ตามความเป็นจริง พระอรหันตสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้าทั้งหมดแล้วจักตรัสรู้อริยสัจ ๔ ตามความเป็นจริง ถึงพระอรหันตสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้าเหล่าใดเหล่าหนึ่งในปัจจุบัน ตรัสรู้อยู่ตามความเป็นจริง พระอรหันตสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้าทั้งหมดนั้น ตรัสรู้อยู่ซึ่งอริยสัจ ๔ ตามความเป็นจริง อริยสัจ ๔ เป็นไฉน? คือ ทุกขอริยสัจ … ทุกขนิโรธคามินีปฏิปทาอริยสัจ ก็พระอรหันตสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้าเหล่าใดเหล่าหนึ่งในอดีตกาล ตรัสรู้แล้วตามความเป็นจริง … จักตรัสรู้ … ตรัสรู้อยู่ตามความเป็นจริง พระอรหันตสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้าทั้งหมดนั้นตรัสรู้อยู่ซึ่งอริยสัจ ๔ ตามความเป็นจริง ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย เพราะฉะนั้นแหละ เธอทั้งหลายพึงกระทำความเพียรเพื่อรู้ตามความเป็นจริงว่า นี้ทุกข์ ฯลฯ นี้ทุกขนิโรธคามินีปฏิปทา.
