Brahmacariyogadhasutta
Someone who has the four factors of stream-entry—experiential faith in the Buddha, the teaching, and the Saṅgha, and ethical conduct—is a stream-enterer, destined for awakening.

ข้อ ๑๔๑๔ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย อริยสาวกผู้ประกอบด้วยธรรม ๔ ประการ ย่อมเป็นพระโสดาบัน มีความไม่ตกต่ำเป็นธรรมดา เป็นผู้เที่ยงที่จะตรัสรู้ในเบื้องหน้า ธรรม ๔ ประการ เป็นไฉน? อริยสาวกในธรรมวินัยนี้ประกอบด้วยความเลื่อมใสอันไม่หวั่นไหวในพระพุทธเจ้า ฯลฯ ในพระธรรม ฯลฯ ในพระสงฆ์ ฯลฯ ประกอบด้วยศีลที่พระอริยเจ้าใคร่แล้ว ฯลฯ อริยสาวกผู้ประกอบด้วยธรรม ๔ ประการเหล่านี้แล เป็นพระโสดาบัน มีความไม่ตกต่ำเป็นธรรมดา เป็นผู้เที่ยงที่จะตรัสรู้ในเบื้องหน้า ครั้นพระผู้มีพระภาคผู้สุคตศาสดาได้ตรัสไวยากรณภาษิตนี้จบลงแล้ว จึงได้ตรัสคาถาประพันธ์ต่อไปอีกว่า
ข้อ ๑๔๑๕ศรัทธา ศีล ความเลื่อมใสและการเห็นธรรมมีอยู่แก่ผู้ใด ผู้นั้นแล
ย่อมบรรลุความสุข อันหยั่งลงในพรหมจรรย์ตามกาล.

“Catūhi, bhikkhave, dhammehi samannāgato ariyasāvako sotāpanno hoti avinipātadhammo niyato sambodhiparāyaṇo.
“Mendicants, a noble disciple who has four things is a stream-enterer, not liable to be reborn in the underworld, assured, destined for awakening.

confidence, and vision of the truth,
