The interior sense fields are the things that fetter, the craving is the fetter.
ฉบับหลวงสังโยชนสูตร

ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย เราจักแสดงธรรมเป็นเหตุแห่งสังโยชน์และสังโยชน์ เธอทั้งหลายจงฟัง ก็ธรรมที่เป็นเหตุแห่งสังโยชน์และสังโยชน์เป็นไฉน ธรรมที่เป็นเหตุแห่งสังโยชน์และสังโยชน์นั้นคือ จักษุเป็นธรรมอันเป็นเหตุแห่งสังโยชน์ ความกำหนัดด้วยอำนาจความพอใจในจักษุนั้นเป็นสังโยชน์ในจักษุนั้น ฯลฯ ใจเป็นธรรมอันเป็นเหตุแห่งสังโยชน์ ความกำหนัดด้วยอำนาจความพอใจในใจนั้นเป็นสังโยชน์ในใจนั้น ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย นี้เราเรียกว่า ธรรมเป็นเหตุแห่งสังโยชน์และสังโยชน์ ฯ
